Hello World!
So this post is just a quick up date on my acting life, I call it my acting life because I feel the need to separate my future career and my regular life. I've been told by so many people that I'm much more aggressive, and "business-like" when I have my acting cap on, which is true. After being in the industry for over 5 years (I got my fist agent when I was in grade 9), I learned that if given the opportunity people will walk all over you and take your money before you blink. But in my regular life, I'm much or laid back and a total goof ball.
Anyways, back to my "acting life" update, my shoot for the TV show I was on was SOOO much fun, I made a lot of amazing friends, and met a lot of amazing people! Because the cast and crew was so small it was very easy to make friends, and as usual I was the only person who didn't live in Toronto. I find it very funny when people's jaws drop when I tell them I live in Mississauga, they can't fathom the thought of me taking the bus/ subway all the way to the city, but in all honesty it's not that bad.
And on another note, I'm having a lot of fun being apart of the NGO drama team, it's great! I get to work with talented and experienced actors, perform, and get paid! WOOHOO.
Overall I'm having fun doing what I love, and finding lots of support along the way.
P.S. my managers at work are like my mini cheerleaders, their always asking me for up dates, and giving me time off when I have auditions, how amazing is that?
Anyhow readers, I hope all is going well with you guys, and remember "When God closes a door, he opens a window".
Yours truly,
Drama Queen
