Go get 'em

Hello World!

So recently I had an audition for a TV show called Duel suspects (it hasn't aired yet) and it was a very interesting experience.

First off, I got the call from my agent at the very last minute, I was actually thrown off guard by her phone call so late. So I quickly ran over to my computer and opened the email which gave me the audition instructions, character break down, and the show break down. So while reading this I quickly have to think of an outfit in my mind, figure out how to get to the audition which is in the heart of Toronto (Spadina), and still make it to work for 5. But I must say that God is good, and everything worked out perfectly.

When I walked in to the audition everyone was nice (or at least pertending to be nice), and the audition went fairly quickly I was in and out all with in 20 minutes. The funniest thing to me was that the casting directors were the typical casting directors you see in movies, rude, with big egos. One of the casting directors didn't even look up at me when I walked in, but when I started performing he FINALLY looked up from his ever interesting Blackberry for a quick second.

Overall the audition was great! I was very pleased with myself on how fast I was able to prepare myself on such short notice. Although I HOPE I get the role, I have to remember that the acting industry is VERY competitive, and I have to keep running the race and not give up no matter how many auditions I go to, but the best part is that I have my friends and family supporting me all the way.

Yours Truly,
Kur-reen
