Wow

Hello World!

Over the March Break Ms. Thomas gave us an amazing assignment! I bet you're wondering what it is... Well, our homework was to watch movies that have won the Oscars, or have been nominated. Since I've already seen most of the movies that were nominated I decided to do some time traveling. I decided to watch Saving Private Ryan which is an amazing and heart retching movie. I honestly really enjoyed the movie from start to finish, truth be told, this movie gave me nightmares (I'm 17), but I would recommend any and everyone to go out and watch that movie. The acting is amazing, the cinematography is breath taking, and the writing is profound! Just to give you a hint on how truly amazing this movie is… It won 5 Oscars! YES! Five!

So if you haven’t seen it yet please go see it, and if you have… watch it again!

Work IT!

Hello World!

In light of our newly branded class our wonderful teacher Ms. Kim Thomas decided to hold a fashion show to show off our new class colours!

Everyone looked amazing in their own unique way! Of course it’s not a real fashion show in less we have critics. We had a guest judge Kishona Burkett critique our outfits, and pick a winner, one male, and one female! Just to keep your readers on you’re toes… I won’t tell you who the winner was… I’ll let you be the judge!

I Hate to Brag!

Hello World!

For the past week or so I’ve been informing you on the branding situation, and you’re probably wondering who won right?

Well here's a hint… I’m always on the winning team.

WE WON! Our team won!

The 2010 acting academy is now named Eminence Production Company which means, distinction, renown, and prominence.

I had an amazing time working with each and every member of my group and we all worked well together, I won’t lie, there were a few bumps in the road. But overall I would do it all over again if it means spending time with my group members.

So now I’ll get down to business and tell you about our newly branded class.

Class name: Eminence

Colours: Black, white, and tan

Slogan: “Pursuing greatness!”

FYI the other team was also really amazing; the name that they came up with was Epiphany, I won’t lie. I honestly didn’t like that name. SORRY!

10 Steps to Perfection

Hello World!

Today Ms. Thomas gave us a wonderful lesson on how to create a perfect scene, and I thought I would share it with you so that maybe when you’re watching a movie or T.V. show you can look out for these key elements.

· Set the environment

· Establish you’re character

· Establish the relationship between the characters

· Commit to the scene

· Establish conflict

· Unravel the scene towards the denouement

· Back door exit

· Always leave the audience wanting more!

Time Fly's

Hello World!

Our class in currently in the process of branding!

The tensions between the two groups are high! Each group is sabotaging each other, and each group is also trying to find out the other groups name. It’s hectic, but also fun at the same time, but balancing a two credit class with my other classes and work is the hard part!

Pray for me!
